昨年末にMILLEFY'sHouseに滞在した時にいくつかメンテナンスを自分たちで行いました。

MILLEFY'sHouseの床はすべてタイル張りになっています。

タイルと壁との間に隙間ができている部分があり，

コーキング剤を注入していきます。

わたしはマスキングテープをひたすら貼っていましたが，

コーキング剤注入後にはがす時の達成感はたまりません。

一生懸命貼ってはがすのは一瞬でかすかなむなしさもありますが，

真っ白な縁はそれ以上のすがすがしさでした。

皆様に気持ち良く滞在していただけるよう，

少しずつ改良をしていきたいと思っております。

When we stayed at MILLEFY 's House at the end of last year we did some maintenance on  own.

All the floors of MILLEFY 's House are tiled.

There is a gap between the tile and the wall,

We will inject caulking agent.

I was just sticking masking tape,

The feeling of accomplishment when peeling the tape after caulking agent injection does not accumulate.

There is also a faint emptiness in a moment that you strike hard so that you peel off,

The pure white margin was more refreshing.

In order to make everyone feel comfortable staying,

I would like to improve it little by little.

昨日まで，MILLEFY’ｓHouseに同僚とそのお友達家族が宿泊してました。

台風で日にちは短くなりましたが，石垣を満喫して黒くなって出社しました。

お土産はロイズ石垣島のかりんとうチョコと紅いもクランチチョコ。

さっそく紅いもクランチをいただきました～

ほんのり紅イモ風味。ロイズだけにチョコレートはもちろんおいしい。

石垣島にはおいしいお土産がたくさんありますから，

食べ比べてご報告できたらいいなと思っています。

Until yesterday, my colleague and his friend's family stayed at MILLEFY 's House.

Although the number of days stayed in the typhoon became short, he enjoyed Ishigakijima and started sunburning.

The souvenir is ROYCE Ishigakijima Karintou chocolate and red sweet potato chocolate.

I ate red sweet potato chocolate at once ~

It is slightly red sweet potato flavor. Chocolate is delicious as well as ROYCE is stuck.

Since Ishigaki Island has many good souvenirs,

I hope I can eat and report it.

豪雨・台風・地震と自然災害の多い年ですね。

被害にあわれた方にこころよりお見舞いとお悔やみを申し上げます。

石垣も台風通過の多い場所です。

地の方たちはもちろん万全の対策をご存じで，

家の建て方はもちろん様々な工夫をされています。

幸いなことにMILLEFY's　Houseをオープンしてからは大きな台風の被害はありませんが，

台風の進路は常に心配の種です。

台風の進路に石垣が入った場合，

現地スタッフが雨戸を閉め，

飛ばされそうなものを片づけたり，

中庭の上部にネットを張ったりして対応をしております。

皆様にご迷惑をおかけしないよう，万全の対応をとっていくつもりですが，

何かご不安な点がありましたら，何なりとお問い合わせください。

最後になりましたが，被災地の一日も早い復興を願っております。

先日の世界ふしぎ発見でも紹介されましたが，石垣の星空はとても美しいです。

今年の３月には国際ダークスカイ協会から星空保護区に正式認定されました。

この美しい星空を守るために石垣市はいしがき島星空宣言を制定しています。

どうか皆様もMILLEFY'ｓHouseへお越しの際は外灯を消してお休みください。

もちろん！石垣牛ですよね。

市内にはいろいろなお店があり，高級店はもちろん意外に気軽なお値段で食べられるお店も。

MILLEFY's Houseからは車で１５～２０分。

お酒を飲まれる場合はタクシーやバスという手もありますが，バスは終バスが早いので気をつけてください。

MILLEFY’s Ｈouseの最寄りのバス停は「フサキリゾートヴィレッジ」になります。

帰りは坂道を上ることになりますが，徒歩８分ほどです。 

おすすめのお店がありましたら，教えてください。

 Ishigaki is famous for beef.

There are various shops in the city, and shops that can be eaten at a casual price without surprising as well as high-end shops.

It is 15 to 20 minutes by car from MILLEFY's House.

There are taxis and buses when you drink alcohol, but please be careful as the bus is fast last bus.

The nearest bus stop of MILLEFY's House is "Fusaki Resort Village".

Although I will go up the slope on the way home, it is about 8 minutes on foot.

西日本豪雨はすさまじい被害となり，

ニュースで映像を見るたびに被災者の方々の苦労と悲しみが迫ってくるものがあります。

被災地へのお見舞いを申し上げるとともにと一日も早い復興を願っています。

さて，あまり報道されていませんが，石垣島は先日台風８号が上陸しました。

MILLEFY’ｓHouseにも多少の被害がありました。

シンボルツリーとして皆様をお迎えする島バナナが倒れてしまいました。

宿泊のお客様にご迷惑をおかけすることなく良かったです。

VERA石垣島観測所があります。

VERAは銀河系の三次元立体地図を作るための施設です。

20ｍのアンテナは真下に立つととても大きく圧倒されます。

構内の見学は24時間でき，夜はライトアップされとても美しいとのこと。

私も次回は夜の見学に行こうかな。

There is VERA Ishigakijima Observatory about 20 minutes by car from MILLEFY's House This is a facility of National Astronomical Observatory of Japan,

and to create a 3D map of the galaxy.

The 20m antenna is very big when standing underneath.

We can visit the campus in 24 hours, it is lighted up at night and it looks very beautiful.

I am going to visit the evening next time.
